This link is from the BBC news magazine article talking about some Australian great inventions by Phill Mercer.

After reading this article, i realized that inspiration come from many things, and many ways, like tragedies ! or even a beach vacations! like Dr Graeme Clark who was inspired by a seashell and invented the cochlear implant, and with that invention he changed the life's thousands of people with hearing disabilities.

So what is creativity? and how to be creative and innovative?
there is many definitions for those two words, and best and closest meaning for them is to create something acceptable and useful socially.

 There is also another definition from Dr Ali Alhammadi from his book ''سلسة الابداع" (the chain of creativity), ''creativity is a combination of flexible science fiction, to develop and old idea, or to find a new one, no matter how small the idea is, an unfamiliar result comes out of it, that can be applied and used.

people thinks that a human is born creative, and being innovative is limited on experts and scientist! which is not true, it's an art that can be learned and practiced by any person, except those who don't believe in them selves.

Creative and innovative people always look for ways and alternative solutions and never stay on one solution, they have strong will and patience, clear goals, ignorant for the bad comments and criticism, always positive and optimistic, and the most important thing is that they are not afraid of failure! All those qualities are acquired while growing up, it does not come with a package when you are born.

Creativity and DIFFERENT:
Creative thinkers must think of a new and exciting ways to grap people's attention everyday. like the video above, these guys found a way to make more people use the stairs instead of the electrical stairs because its fun! and it is something new.

i loved what they did here, approving that creativity needs time, the more time you spend on a work, the better it turns to be!

This video too, sometimes we need something to motivate us, to produce such an art work for someone that we really care about.

Thinking reversely, Thinking Upside down
How can we be innovative? we think creatively, we think backwards! turning what we see in our lives up side down to get new ideas. In education for instance, students go to school to learn, and when you reverse it you say school comes to students, and that what happened nowadays due to the evolution of internet and education and its availability in every house.

imagine that you became the education minister, what is the first thing you would do? imagine that you live under water, how could you survive and how is you life going to be? always carry on a note book and write any idea u get!


and the most important thing is to keep in mind that everything is POSSIBLE.
